Everything is on God’s terms. I remember sitting in bible and wondering why I couldn’t just come to him on my terms. Why his? The tabernacle had to be built with everything to his specifications. I was never an easy student at school or church. So many years of Christian schools and Sunday school and not one teacher wanted to cal on me. I had a lot of questions like that.

As a child/young person I had no awareness of history of the tabernacle. It was never taught to the kids. Our teachers focused on the telling and retelling of the same bible stories over and over. I had no idea there was anything more than Noah’s “ark” until I was an adult and started attending church again. I want to be sure my kids are educated about this very meaningful structure that was designed by God and points to the Christ.

A very special tent! The detail that the bible goes into is awesome! Didn’t do much on it as a child, but make sure I teach it to tge kids at church now!

I don’t think I knew much about the tabernacle when I was a child, but I’ve definitely grown more interested since then. This looks like a great book I could use with my own children.
